Greg is knowledgeable and well spoken. His recommendations regarding application and product selection saved me from over applying, and I used a semi transparent instead of a clear, which will postpone recoating longer.

The Armstrong Clark stain I used covered better than advertised and is undoubtedly the best quality stain I’ve used.

Worth the money. Buy once cry once.

What a great place, we were looking for wallpaper for our next home project and I am glad we found this gem, this store has a vast variety of options, it's an endless search, with so many good choices. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the place is unique and wonderful. We spent over and 1 h looking for the right one and we found it with their help. Highly recommended!

I am a professional wallpaper installer/painter and I can say without a shred of doubt in my mind that, Walls Alive has the largest selection of in stock wallpaper products that I have ever seen!

They also have the most knowledgeable staff in Alberta to help you make your selection as easy as possible. I can't tell you how many times a client will tell me they walked in, quickly explained what they were looking for, and the staff member walked over to a single one of the hundreds of wallpaper books, opened it to a certain page, and it was exactly what the client had envisioned!

And while I'm at it, I need to mention their paints! I don't live in Calgary so I usually buy my paint at a store in my small town (shop local!? 🤷), but the paints these guys have are also fantastic! I have used Farrow & Ball on a couple of kitchens, and C2 on walls in multiple other homes! As much as I like to "stick with what works for me" concerning paints, their products work great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them!

Just can't say enough good things about this place and I highly recommend checking them out if you're thinking of redecorating/revamping/sprucing up your place!

Walls Alive has grown into what I consider the finest design center in Calgary. The inventory of wallpaper is complimented by the phenomenal consultants there to guide you through your ideal selection. Where else do you get hours of free design expertise...not the "competition".
FYI C2 paint is a locally developed paint that has spread throughout North America. Why wouldn't you support such a local company.
The C2 paint is my standard for our renovation clients and the knowledge the two Greg's (and others) there at Walls Alive provided over the years has shown in the end product that we have given our high end clients.
Finishes on wood windows that breath and don't crack to stains for stucco to full depth wall paint that no other brand can offer.
